We believe orthodontic treatment begins with clear and unambiguous communication between the patient and the doctor. Dr. Kim's office is equipped with the latest visual and interactive technologies to present and aid in understanding problems of each individual malocclusion and possible solutions to those problems.

Dr. Doil Kim graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine with Masters of Medical Science (MMSc.) degree and Orthodontic Specialty Certificate after successful completion of three years training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Training at Harvard focused on growth modification of developing malocclusion and use of TADs (temporary anchorage devices) to treat challenging cases.
Dr. Kim graduated from University of Southern California School of Dentistry with Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Kim was inducted into Zeta Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and honored by Korean American Dental Association for his achievements in academic excellence.
Dr. Kim graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with Bachelors in Science with major in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics.
We strive to be always available. Our office is open everyday of the week except Tuesday and Sunday. Even when we are closed, we are available through our email. We are constantly monitoring our emails for questions, concerns, and possible emergencies.

Our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients, families, staff and community. In this unprecedented time, we are deeply committed to keeping everyone safe. In light of the evolving pandemic and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close our practice

We believe that this closure will allow us to more effectively evaluate this dynamic situation and assist in following the CDC’s guidance on social separation. If you have an appointment scheduled with us this week, our office will be in touch to help reschedule your appointment. I will be available on call in the event of a dental emergency. Should you require emergency dental care, please call our office as you normally at 213-383-2080 or doilkimorthodontics@gmail.com. We did not make this decision lightly. A great deal of care, research and planning guided our decision. We will continue to evaluate the situation as it evolves and determine on a weekly basis when it is appropriate for us to return to our normal business hours. Again, please understand that we are making this decision with the health and well-being of our patients, our families, our team and our community in mind. We will all of you continued health and strength during this challenging time.
